אוסף אוריגאמי ישראלי מספר 1

אנu שמחים להודיע שספר האוסף של יוצרים ישראלים יצא לאור הספר מכיל 96 עמודים. כריכה צבעונית בפנים שחור לבן עם תמונות. היחוד בספר בכך שרוב המודלים הם של יוצרים ישראלים(מתוך מועדון החובבים שלנו) ישנם דגמים של אורחים כמו של ג'יסון קו (ארה"ב)שהרים את הכפפה שבועז שלח ויצר דגם של דגל ישראל.ומארק שולסון(מארה"ב) ששלח דגם של מזוזה. הספר מכיל גם דגמים ומאמרים של פול ג'קסון.וטומוקו פוסה שהיתה אורחת בכנס. הספר מכיל -31 דגמים 10 מאמרים חשובים ותמונות מהכנס. מחיר הספר ללא חובב 78 ש"ח לחובב 10% הנחה לחובב שהיה בכנס 15% הנחה. כל מי שתרם לספר יקבל עותק חינם.(כל מי שכתב מאמר או שלח מודל) אני מקווה שתהנו מהספר. הספר הופק על ידי המרכז הישראלי לאוריגאמי ואני גאה בספר מכיון שאנחנו יכולים להציג משהו כחול לבן. שמות היוצרים וכותבי המאמרים בספר לפי א' ב': טומוקו פוסה (יפן) גלעד אהרוני יובל אטלס מירי גולן פול ג'קסון איתי הכהן נדב וקס הרמן מריאנו גלעד נאור ליהי סלומון יהודה פלד אבישי קצור בועז שובל סעדיה שטרנברג ג'יסון קו (ארה"ב) מארק שולסון(ארה"ב) גיל גבעוני חגית שלו (ארה"ב) עורך הספר : גלעד נאור שיצא לכנס ביפן עם חבילה גדולה של הספרים. שאלות או מי שהיה מעורב בהפקת הספר מוזמן לכתוב. ספרים לחובבים שיצרו בספר יחולקו במפגש החובבים הקרוב . את הספר ניתן לרכוש במרכז הישראלי לאוריגאמי בטלפון: 03-7513483 שלכם מירי גולן ופול ג'קסון המרכז הישראלי לאוריגאמי

Israeli Origami Collection-Volume 1

Miri and I are very excited about this collection of work by Israeli creators and writers, and guest creators. It showcases the great talent here in Israel. We hope it will promote the image and reputation of Israeli origami around the world and inspire Israeli folders to greater achievements. We must sincerely thank the very lovely Gilad Naor for all his hard work to edit the Collection, Boaz Shuval for assisting him and many others for their support and encouragement. A 96 page book is not cheap to print and the Origami Center took a big financial risk publishing it. We hope that in a few years the book will begin to make a small profit -- we calculate that we need to sell about 550 copies before this happens ('sell', not 'give away'). Any profit will be used to support the Peace Projects of the Origami Center -- this is written on the back of the book. This philosophy of using small profits to promote and develop other origami projects continues Miri's work of many years, begun first with educational projects, then with publishing projects. Why did we take this risk and make the book? -- Because we believe in the future of origami in Israel and because the Origami Center is dedicated to promoting and developing origami in Israel. To publish a Collection is the best way to say 'this is us, now' and to begin to build greater things from this fixed point. The book will continue how Miri has I hope you will consider buying a copy of this important Collection. Paul Jackson
