Contact me for details and arrangements. Here is just a part of their witness: Monday, June 22, 2009 Psalm 40 (Amplified Bible) 3 And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord. 3 More and more people are seeing this: they enter the mystery, abandoning themselves to YHVH (Message Bible) For me, this scripture describes the beginning of this New Song that The Lord has given me to sing. By hearing a song and responding in my heart to The Lord, I was saved 33 years ago. Eight years ago (8 is the number of new beginnings) The Lord began to work something new in our lives that we did not at all understand, and to walk it out was only possible as we stepped out “in faith,” and put our trust and confident reliance in The Lord “Alone”. Now, eight years later, we are witnesses ourselves, and observers of this same “walk of faith” being recognized and entered into by multitudes of others. There is a saying in Hebrew that says “all new beginnings are difficult.” So, as you “enter this mystery,” you will need to know and understand from the start that there is only one thing that will keep you continuing on this “Highway to Zion” (Ps 84:4 & 5 NAS)... Abandoning yourself to The LORD, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Let’s start with looking at Abraham’s life. The scripture describes him as The Father of our Faith, so it makes sense that if we are embarking on a walk of faith, that we might see ourselves walking in his footsteps. Abraham was given the name Hebrew. (Gen 14:13) The meaning is “one who has crossed over.” How did He “cross over”? He heard and obeyed what The Lord spoke to Him! 1 Now the LORD said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father's house, To the land which I will show you; (Gen 12:1-5) Now, you might think that when you hear God’s call and obey that you will experience great joy and delight. Well, that’s not true. When Jesus said “Let us “Cross Over” to the other side”, they were plunged into the biggest storm they had ever known. (Luke 8:22-25)
