גם אני נורא נהנתי בתערוכה!

כל הכבוד לדיוויד בריל על התערוכה המקסימה וגם לכל מי שעמל בשביל התערוכה.נורא נענתי להפגש איתכם(מועדון החובבים) ואני מצפה מאד לכנס השבוע.גם נחמד לראות שיש כל הזמן חובבים חדשים לנכנסים לפורום ושולחים הודעות.עוד פעם הודעה לדיוויד בריל:אני מקווה שתהנה בישראל. לגבי הכנס לכל מי שחושש לבוא ,אני מציע בחום לבוא כי זה תורם המון,לדוגמה בכנס שנה שעברה בעיין-גדי גם מי שהתחיל ניסה לעשות דברים מסובכים ואם הוא נתקע אז החובבים האחרים היו עוזרים לו.

My Impression of the exhibition

My impression of the exhibition was kind of mixed. The first part is that I was surprised by the ability to select the right paper type and paper size and give simple unit origami a better look. I can’t really put my finger on what it is, but when I think of some of 30 units models done in smaller scale with simple paper, they just don’t look as good as the one create by Dave. The transforming color cube was also a very nice and novel idea. But, and this is the disappointing part, after hearing about Dave’s skill in wet folding (and seeing some of his models in pictures) I was really looking forward to see some of his models from up close. I realize that when creating a small exhibition there should be a focal point. You cannot mix to many styles. On a brighter note, I understood after talking to Dave that he has some models that will be presented in the conference, so I’m looking forward to it. I hope that Dave will not be offended by this, after all his displayed models are great and do give new insight on things. I guess if I had a notion of what the motive of the exhibition will be, I wouldn’t develop expecting to see something that wasn’t planned at all.​
