הז`נדמיה

זה אמנם לא קשור לבלשנות, אבל לא מצאתי פורום מתאים יותר: "הז`נדרמיה" היתה המשטרה ההונגרית או התורכית? האם זה נכון לכנות את השוטרים התורכים (בארץ לפני האנגלים, אם זה משנה) בשם "ז`נדרמים"?
