If the Sliders were to visit our Earth, they would be surprised to discover their alternates were all actors in a SCI-FI Channel TV show! <g> This actually kind of "happened" in the final episode. Further evidence that the Sliders aren't from our Earth can be found in the first few episodes. The University which Quinn attends looks exactly like the U.C. Berkeley campus but seems to be located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. (Berkeley is across the bay from San Francisco, about 30 miles away.)
