הפרק של אתמול: שם הפרק: Love stinks תקציר הפרק: Eric and Annie must deal with the emotional fallout as they learn about their kids tumultuous love lives. Mary upsets her parents by announcing that not only has she decided to skip college in the fall, but she is getting back together with Robbie. Matt is forced to choose between his girlfriend Shana (who has moved back to Glenoak for the summer) or his ex-flame Heather, who confesses that she still loves him. Lucy dates Robbie's cute brother Ronald, disappointing Andrew Nayloss who still harbors feelings for her. Also, Simon gets dumped by Deena and Ruthie takes advantage of her new boyfriend. ציטוטים: Annie to Matt: "How's Shana?... Shana?... How is she?" I hope... but...she has been praying for Robbie to come back. And she may..." Eric to Annie: "Don't say it." Annie to Eric: "...She may take him back." Eric to Annie: "I told you not to say it. And you said it. Why did you say it?" Annie to Eric: "I said it because it could happen and we both need to figure out a way to deal with this." Eric to Annie: "Never." Robbie to Mary: "You haven't seen me for the last 3 months because I've been busy turning my life around." Mary to Robbie: "What does that mean?" Robbie to Mary: "It means I go to church now... every Sunday. But I have to admit that I just don't go for God. Since church is such a big part of who you are, going every Sunday makes me feel close to you, when I can't be close to you." Mary to Robbie: "Trying to get close to me? Isn't that how you got into trouble in the first place?" Robbie to Mary: "I guess I came by to say 'thank you'. I'm a better person now and I owe it all to you... What are you doin'?" Mary to Robbie: "I don't see you for months, ad then you show up and tell me that because of that dispicable thing you did to me on Valentine's Day you've changed, became some great guy, so you can do what? Just go off and be a great guy to some other girl? I don't think so." Robbie to Mary: "Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Mary to Robbie: "Welcome back to my life Robbie Palmer... Don't break my heart." Robbie to Mary: "Don't break my jaw." Mary to Robbie: "Don't break my heart and I'll have no reason to break your jaw." Eric to Peter Simms: You must have Mary confused with some other student. Mary's going to Crawford in the fall." Peter Simms to Eric: "She WAS going to Crawford, but she lost her space when she didn't send in her acceptance forms. Plus, she didn't fill out any financial aid or grant forms. When I found about about Mary's situation, I spoke to her directly, she told me she wasn't planning on attending college in the fall." Eric to Peter Simms: "Are you telling me Mary doesn't have a college to go to?" Peter Simms to Eric: "I'm afraid so." Mary to Eric & Annie: "Hi. I'm glad your both here. I have something to tell you. Robbie and I are back together... Is there something wrong?" Eric to Mary: "Your school guidance counselor called. He said you didn't fill out any financial aid or grant forms, you didn't send your paperwork back to Crawford to hold your space, so you don't have a school to go to in the fall." Annie to Mary: "Please tell me it was a mistake, a terrible terrible mistake." Mary to Eric & Annie: "It's not a mistake. I'm not going to college. I'm sorry you had to find out like this, but I'm glad you know." Deena to Simon: "I think we should see other people." Simon to Deena: "Are you serious?" Mary to Eric & Annie: "I always thought that I'd graduate, I go to college, and I play basketball, and that would be that. But being arrested and losing my scholarship changed everything. SO after awhile, I thought, I skip college, I'd go pro and play for the WNBA, but that's not happening. So now I'm not sure what I want to do with my life. And I don't think that everyone should go into debt while figuring it out. It's not like Matt and pre-med. It's not terrible if he goes into debt because he's working toward a specific goal. And in the end, he'll be a doctor and it'll be all worth it. But for me, I don't know what I want to do." Annie to Mary: "But college is a great place to figure that out." Mary to Annie: "College will always be there." Annie to Mary: "You say that now because you're young, but the older you get, the harder it is to start over." Mary to Annie: "Hard, but not impossible... I know you're disappointed. But nothing you'll say will change my mind. I need to figure what I want. I need to find myself, and I'm not going to college to do it." Heather to Matt: "I'm in love with you. I just thought you should know. I'm always thinking of excuses to spend more time wit you... sometimes I catch myself smiling for no reason than I'm going to see you."
