The victim toll has risen again. אבל זה רק נסיון לשפץ מעט את מה שכתבת. למען האמת גם זה לא ממש אנגלית טובה, בשל ביטויים כמו "the evil flames" או "horrifying terror" שלא מצלצלים לי משום מה.

נדמה לי שלקורא לא ישראלי, בהנחה שעל כך מדובר, mother of provinces זה ביטוי סתום שלא יגיד כלום ולא יעשה כל רושם.
