אוקיי, אני חייבת לחלוק מידע.
אבל השרשורי איריס האלה מרגיזים אותי. תגידו משהו גם אתם!
the setlist on greenplastic appears to be right... except they did do Hunting Bears tagged onto the end of National Anthem. it was thom being spontaneous, he called for his guitar in the middle of the song and then tore into the instrumental while ed & jonny followed along providing all the guitar noise behind thom´s solo. it was very ´in the moment´-- thom was feelin it

There There - this song was SO MUCH BETTER the second night it´s hard to describe. we couldn´t stop talking about it after the show... it´s allova sudden one of my favorite songs by them. maybe that´s a bit rash, but it was that astounding last night. phil does indeed sing on this one.. i had not seen him singing the first night because thom was blocking my view of phil Scaterbrain - on this, like nearly all the new ones, both jonny & ed play guitar. unfortunately, my memory´s already faded on this song.. can´t quite recall it. Sail to the moon - another w/ ed & jonny on guitar. Wolf from the door - a brand new one! this one i really really loved. it´s a brand new sound for Radiohead... thom sort of sing-speaks it... more singing than speaking, but it´s in a low monotone snarl that sounds really fresh & un-radiohead. then on the chorus he sings higher and more song-ish... something about wolves at the door, "trying to mess me up".... it was one of my favorites of the new ones. Myxomatosis - this is that crazy one, where thom plays the mini synth-thing that hangs around his neck like a guitar. (styg, i couldn´t see last night if it said "liberator" or not.) this one´s got spunk. attitude. jonny plays keyboard on this one. A punch up at a wedding - gorgeous w/ thom at piano & ed & jonny on guitar. Phil also sings on this one, i believe. there were some technical difficulties involving the sound at the start of this song, and it was tense for a few minutes while the band just sat there, you could just see ed, behind his eyes, hoping thom wouldn´t get too pissed off. finally thom sprung up off his piano bench and stormed over to the sound board where jonny was already beseeching the sound guy to get things fixed. we were all a bit worried, but then thom sat back down, still visibly agitated at the sound crew, muttering something like "we´ll just wing this one then"... and then of course they nailed it, performing it better than the first night. (note: there´s a slight possiblity i have this confused w/ another song, but i think it was this one) Sit down. Stand up - whoa. this song was Idioteque on speed. more electronica dance beat music, but this time jonny´s playing a BIGGER switchboard that he´s built, i guess the new & improved version of the one he uses on Idioteque. it was REALLY FUN! it built really well into a nice climax where we were all dancing crazily. thom not excluded

oh, and this is the third of the 3 songs on which Phil sang backup! Lucky Karma police I might be wrong Morning bell Exit music Talks show host My iron lung Pyramid song Idioteque Everything in it´s right place First Encore: National Anthem Fake plastic trees Go to sleep - here was another brand new one... thom said "i really, really don´t know what this one is called"... yet on the setlists, it was titled "Go to Sleep" .. it was more straightforward, almost classic-rock sounding. not TOO dissimilar from their cover of "Cinnamon Girl"... at least that gets you in the right ballpark. How to disappear Second Encore: We suck young blood - this one is as spooky as it´s name. but absolutely gorgeous, that being more apparent in its placement as an encore. Street Spirit -- THis was one of the most spirited shows by thom & the rest that i or those with me have ever witness. we were all moved by it, hugging afterward and huge smiles lingering on our faces. almost all the old songs were perfomed so exceptionally that you felt like you were hearing them for the first time. at the end of Idioteque, during which thom had been dancing and convulsing as frenetically as ever, he collapsed on the floor after his concluding grunt, laying there motionless on his face for nearly a full minute. eventually jonny bent over to make sure he was okay, at which time he got up and it was apparent he was only overcome by the moment. it was intense! he was as wild and frisky as ever i have seen him, sneering at the audience and making those weird faces while singing, where you know he´s absolutely lost in the song. but he was obviously enjoying himself. okay! i gotta go again... i hope this was enjoyable and not too long... bye peoples!!! -clay
