In the course, we apply test techniques to an open source product, often Open Office, and report our results in the database. Students start by replicating unconfirmed bugs in the database, then start reporting their own. I see that preview versions of OO 2 are now available. (a) would the community benefit more if we (16 graduate-level Computer Science / Software Engineering students) spent our time on OO2 or OO1.4? (b) is there a particular application that would benefit more? Our most recent target was Calc 1.1.3. If there is no guidance, we'll probably go to Writer 1.9 or Impress 1.9. Comments?
