SEASON 3 ON AUSSIE HALLMARK / HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIDIE Related Links: DECEMBER 18, 2004 Good news for Aussie fans! Season 3 will begin airing on Hallmark on January 18th 2005. A NEW MALE LEAD? Related Links: DECEMBER 13, 2004 A weekend newspaper has reported that Johnny Pasvolski has been signed to join the cast next season. Myles Pollard shot his last scenes on Friday (10/12/04) but will appear on Australian screens until mid-2005. We assume - if the news about Johnny is proven to be correct - that he will begin appearing on the show around this time. We know very little about Johnny Pasvolski except that he is regarded as one of Australia's promising young actors...he will be playing Rob Shelton. MYLES SAYS GOODBYE / HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAN Related Links: DECEMBER 1, 2004 The rumours were there and they have now been confirmed. Myles Pollard is leaving McLeod's Daughters to try his luck in the US. According to some sources his character, Nick Ryan, won't be killed off and will also be heading to the States to further his knowledge of various farming practices leaving the door open for Myles to return should he wish to. His final day on set will be December 10th. Bridie Carter will also be absent for some of Season 5 due to the time she will be taking off following the birth of her first child in March 2005. Following filming schedules we expect Tess will be absent during the second half of the season but we aren't 100% sure about this. Unlike Myles, Bridie has every intention of returning to the show. Jeremy Sims and Zoe Naylor will be introduced to MD fans in Season 5 and are set to 'fill the void' when Nick leaves and Tess is absent (remembering Bridie will return before you panic!!). It will no doubt be a long and testing season for everyone involved in the production of McLeod's Daughters and we wish them luck and we wish Myles all the best as he heads to the US. Many, many fans will miss him! And on a brighter note!! Happy Birthday Dean O'Gorman!! MCLEODS ON HALLMARK / THANKSGIVING MARATHON Related Links: NOVEMBER 26, 2004 As with last year McLeod's Daughter loyal Hallmark viewers have been left out in the cold missing out on the final 6 episodes that aired as part of Season 4 here in Australia. It's not great news but the good news is that these episodes will air as part of Season 5 on Hallmark sometime next year. Just for a bit of a laugh why not visit the WE network's website to view a clip of Aaron and Bridie promoting the McLeod's Daughters marathon that will be airing in the USA this Thanksgiving Weekend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHALA BANAS! Related Links: NOVEMBER 14, 2004 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYLES POLLARD Related Links: NOVEMBER 4, 2004 WHAT'S CHARLIE UP TO? Related Links: NOVEMBER 2, 2004 Charlie Clausen (Jake Harrison 2002 - 2003) has landed a role on another Aussie drama series - Blue Heelers. He will play Senior Constable Lex Kirby. "My character's so well rounded and it's going to be a pleasure to step into the shoes of Lex Kirby" says Charlie. His first episode will air in March 2005.
