Palestinians say two Israeli soldiers slain RAMALLAH, West Bank, Oct 12 (Reuters) - Two suspected Israeli undercover soldiers were killed in a lynching on Thursday by hundreds of Palestinian youths in the West Bank city of Ramallah, Palestinian police sources said. Youths stormed a Palestinian police station in the city where police had taken the suspected undercover men into custody after they were discovered in neighbouring Palestinian-ruled al-Bireh. Israel`s army said four of its soldiers had been taken captive but their condition was unknown. Witnesses said one Israeli body was tossed out a window into a crowd of Palestinian youths. An Israeli officer said one soldier, seriously wounded, had arrived at an Israeli military liaison office near Ramallah. Witnesses said a crowd gathered at the police station after word of the soldiers` presence spread through Ramallah, the scene of frequent clashes during the past two weeks of Israeli-Palestinian violence. At least 97 people, all but seven of them Arabs, have been killed in the unrest.
