MATT'S BUST-UP Jay splits from lover Holly Busted's Matt Jay has split from his long-term lover Holly Davies, I can reveal. Unlike his bandmates James Bourne and Charlie "the bushy eyebrows" Simpson, the 21-year-old is back on the singles market again. Matt told me [a reporter]: "Holly and I have split, but we'll always remain good friends. Everyone thinks that if you're famous or into rock n' roll you should have someone on your arm. I find that really cliche. I think to be really part of that scene you have to be spontaneous instead of having a beautiful girlfriend. That's why we fit into rock n' roll. Charlie drinks more beer than he's allowed and I cross the road when the green man isn't flashing. It's crazy. We really live our lives on the edge." Not. Matt's relationship with gorgeous Holly, who was nine years older than him, had been stop/go for a while. They first split in November after their year-long romance became too full-on for him. He wsiftly made up for lost time and re-acquainted himself with as many lovely ladies as possible before getting back together with Holly - who works for his record label, Universal Island. They split up again in March and their relationship has been on/off on/off ever since. Confusing stuff. I busted Matt getting up to no good behind Holly's back at a bash as London's Pangaea club last month. Clearly under the influence, drunk Matt got up close and personal with "classy" topless model Emma Davies. The two hit it off so well they disappeared into the night to a private party. Matt - who launched a book, Busted on Tour, with the boys tells me he's "not on the look-out" for a girl now he's single. I give him a week...
