Adam Jared Brody was born on December 15, 1979 in San Diego, California. He has two younger twin brothers, Sean and Matt. When Adam was young his family moved to a San Diego suburb called Scripps Ranch. During Adam's childhood years he played baseball and soccer, rode his bike and skateboarded everywhere. His favorite pastime of all was playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with his friends. Then as he grew up, he started to surf and seriously got into it in the ninth grade. At the age of eighteen Adam graduated from high school unsure of what he wanted to do with his life. He took a part-time job at Blockbuster and attended community college. That was when he really started to get interested in movies and acting. On a whim, Adam and a friend drove the two hours to Los Angeles. He gave himself a six month deadline and started waiting tables and parking cars for money. He stayed in a tiny apartment with his friend. Then he got a major break as an extra in a coffee shop scene on The Young and The Restless. But unlike the other extras, he had lines to say to one of the leads. After that job he went on to star as Greg Brady in the TV movie Growing Up Brady. When that movie wrapped up he gave up all of his odd jobs and concentrated solely on his acting career. By then, he had landed guest-staring roles on shows like Once and Again, Judging Amy and Family Laws as well as a lead role as Lucas on MTV's Undressed. He also had small roles in big films like American Pie 2 and The Ring. During the 2002-2003 season he appeared on Gilmore Girls for nine episodes as Lane's boyfriend Dave. He then landed a lead role in the movie Grind. When Adam heard about The O.C. he was immediately attracted to the show because two of his favorite people were involved with it. When Adam auditioned, he began ad-libbing some of his lines and not reading the dialogue exactly as it was written. Initially, the producers weren't impressed, but he was called back for a second audition anyway and this time he proceeded to wow the producers and prove that he was the man for the job. Shortly after, he was cast as Seth Cohen. Tidbits - His favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle is Michelangelo - He can't stand pop music, he's a fan of independent bands - Adam loves animals אין לי כוח לתרגם את כל זה אז אני אסכם בכלליות: אדם ג'ארד ברודי נולד ב-15/12/1979 בסן דייאגו קליפורניה יש לו 2 אחים צעירים- תאומים, שון ומאט. בצעירותו שיחק כדור בסיס וכדורגל ורכב על אופיניו ועל הסקייטבורד שלו לכל מקום. בגיל 18 שסיים תיכון הוא לא היה בטוח מה הוא רוצה לעשות, הוא לקח עבודה חלקית ב"בלוקבסטר" ונכח בקולג' הקהילתי. בערך באותה תקופה הוא התחיל להתעניין במשחק ויצירת סרטים. הוא החליט לנסוע עם חבר ללוס אנג'לס והקציב לעצמו 6 חודשים להצליח, הוא התחיל לעבוד בתור מלצר ו"מחנה מכוניות" וחי בדירה קטנטנה עם שותף, את הפריצה הראשונה שלו עשה כניצב בתוכנית היפים והאמיצים ואחר כך כיכב בתפקידים קטנים בעוד תוכניות וסרטים אחרים ( אין לי כוח לפרט) שאדם שמע על האוסי הוא ניגש להבחן (לתפקיד של ראיין בהתחלה למרבה הפלא) אולם הוא לא הצליח להרשים את המפיק בגלל שהוא לא למד את השורות שלו היטב ואילתר, בפעם השניה שהוא הגיע לאודישן ונבחן לתפקיד של ס'ת כהן הוא הצליח להרשים את המפיקים והוחתם על חוזה.
