3... MMS tool solutions ================================================ Nokia offers two tool solutions for Multimedia messaging developers: tool for MMS message authoring and a tool for MMS application development. * MMS Message Authoring – for static MMS messages Nokia Developer’s Suite for MMS with Adobe GoLive 6.0 can be used to create MMS messages including SMIL. This tool features encapsulating of the created presentation into a MMS message, checking the message projected size and deploying the message either to a Nokia mobile phone emulator (currently Nokia Series 60 MMS SDK supported) or to Nokia MMSC EAIF emulator to check whether it accepts the created MMS message. * MMS Application Development – for dynamic server based MMS applications Nokia MMSC External Application Interface (EAIF) Emulator offers tools to test the MMSC EAIF functionality with pre-made message templates (message preview available). MMS messages can be sent and received from the Nokia MMSC EAIF Emulator and also filtering applications can be used. Own server based MMS applications can be developed using Java and the Nokia MMS Java Library. Nokia MMS Java Library enables the development of applications that create MMS messages according to application defined business rules.
