The following story was shared by a participant in a Stephen Levine workshop given in Monterey, CA in the early 1990´s: A young couple had been consulting with their therapist regarding what they considered a rather odd request from their three-year-old daughter. As the mother neared the end of her pregnancy, her daughter repeatedly asked to speak to her newly arriving brother or sister alone. As this little girl seemed to be a normal and gentle child, and as the couple had an intercom system in their home, the couple and their therapist agreed that it would be permissable to allow her this request when the infant seemed settled in their home. When the new baby boy was a few weeks old, the little girl asked her mother if she could have her request. Mother agreed and the parents dashed into their bedroom to listen to the intercom carefully. They heard their daughter walk to the crib and heard her say to her new brother; "Baby, baby, please...tell me about God! I´m starting to forget!" via Loretta Peters
