Smashnova breaks into Million Dollar Club with Vienna win VIENNA (AFP) - Israel´s Anna Smashnova joined the Million Dollar Club Sunday when she ousted defending champion Iroda Tulyaganova of Uzbekistan in straight sets to win the $170,000 WTA event here. The fourth-seeded Smashnova overcame the challenge of second seed Tulyaganova 6-4, 6-1 to secure her third title this year and the fifth overall in her 11-year career. "It was a great week for me here and I´m already looking forward to coming back next year," said the 25-year-old Smashnova. "The conditions have been tough, 33 degrees yesterday (for the semifinals) and strong winds today, so I´m glad I was able to get through it all and win today against a very good opponent." And the Belarus-born Smashnova admitted that she has been concentrating so much on her game that she did not realize that she was close to breaking the one million dollar mark in career earnings. "I didn´t know I was that close. I said before I wanted to see a ´1´ in front of my prize money, so this is great!" Tulyaganova, 20, was overpowered by her opponent. "I always seem to play well in Vienna, so I´m glad to have made it to the final again. "Anna was a little too tough for me today.
