These are their Yiddish names given at birth:
Lejbus (pronounced Leibush) Pesaj (Pesach) Lewin age 17 after the war
Mordchaj Jakub Lewin age 12 after the war
Jura Ester Lewin age 15 after the war
Their parents were Liba Lewin nee Baumel and Chaskiel Majer Lewin both from Gniewaszow, Poland.
The father left for Bolivia in 1938. War broke out and the families were separated by the war. The children were hidden during the war by Christians. The mother was murdered at Treblinka in 1942.
The family in the US has just found out that the children survived.
