For the public record, I want to answer your criticisms made about Miri. You suggested that the grant we received from the Japanese government is a secret. This is not true. News of the grant was posted by Miri on this Forum. News was also posted on the international Origami List and on the BOS Newsgroup. It was written about in Origami USA's magazine 'The Paper' and also in the BOS magazine. It has also been mentioned in other European origami magazines. It has also been discussed at Fan Club meetings and many times on the phone or in emails between Miri and Fan Club members. One of the Fan Club members came to the final party of the first course. Just because you personally don't know something, does not make it a secret. If you want to be kept in touch with everything that happens in origami, you should not rely on recent postings on this Forum for all your information. You suggested that the grant be used to give free copies of the 'Israeli Origami Collection: Vol1' to Fan Club members. The terms of the grant are that every penny be used for the project. We keep meticulous records of ALL the money we spend. A representative of the Japanese Government oversees the project and checks carefully how we spend the grant. This grant may only be used for joint origami activities between Israeli and Palestinian children …or we lose it. You suggested that Miri is lazy because she did not translate my English piece about Dave Brill. If you believe Miri is 'lazy', you don't know her -- I constantly tell her that she works too hard and should reduce her workload. We know there are Fan Club members with excellent English who enjoy translating. We are very grateful for their contribution to everyone's greater enjoyment of origami, done with a generous heart on your behalf. Paul Jackson
