לגבי המועמדות לפרסי גלובוס הזהב: (Clip of Jennifer winning the Golden Globe 2 years ago) Oprah - So that was Jennifer Garner picking up her first Golden Globe award two years ago for her role in the hit show Alias. Shes been nominated for a Golden Globe again this year; her third nomination to date. Audiences can't get enough of secret agent Sydney Bristow. We met up with Jennifer on set of Alias where she told us how she keeps her rock hard body in fighting form. (Scenes from Alias) Oprah Voice Over - As CIA agent Sydney Bristow, Jennifer Garner kicks butt with the best of them. Tough and sexy, Garner's Sydney still comes off as a sweet girl next door. JG - I think that Sydney and I have a few things in common. We're both an odd mixture of being very girly and vunerable and emotional. Also, kind of.. 'Were you talking down to me? Pardon me? Excuse me?'. We want to be taken seriously. Oprah V.O. - Garners Golden Golbe win catapulted her to stardom, making this one time chemistry major Hollywood's "It Girl". JG - In the first season when i was nominated for the first time, and i was over the moon, it didn't occur to me that it could happen. This makes me feel like its not about the buzz, its not about the new kid in town. This makes me feel like we have done 57 solid episodes and i've been there for every single day of every single one and it MATTERS. Oprah V.O. - Five feet eight inches tall, the atheletic actress likes to do most of her own stunts. JG - I've gotten used to kind of keeping myself in pretty good shape. Oprah V.O. - The fitness magazines have noticed. JG - People think that i just go from one workout session to another. No. My workouts are never more then an hour long. I definately let myself have a day off every now and then. I do a lot of running on camera which is fun - watching the camera guys kind of go "Can you go slower Jen?" and i go "YEAH! I'm beating the camera guys!" Oprah V.O. - Jennifer's not afraid to enlist a little help to acheive that really sleek look we all see on the red carpet. JG - Why are we all too fancy all of a sudden to say "girdle"? I wear a girdle any time they put one in my room. I say "Thank you! Extra strength! Give it to me!". You know you just.. you feel better. Nobody's perfect. None of us are perfect out here. Oprah V.O. - With the awards ceremony just days away, Jennifer's searching for the right dress. JG - My main goal is to not feel like i'm in a costume. I almost always end up with a train, even though every time i swear i'm never going to wear one again, because you spend the whole time saying "Excuse me. Get off my dress, Brad Pitt!". Not really.
