Help!!! I need somebody (song by the beetles). Hello everybody, I really need your help. In the old premiere (ver 6.5), when I wanted to do a split, so the audio track of clip B for instance will enter but the video track will be invisible as the video track A will be in control until track A is over or I until I choose. The way I used to control it was like this: If track A (or the track being played at the moment) is above track B, the split we be natural (I mean the audio of track B will enter but the video won't until track A is finished). If track B is above track A, he will take the control of both audio and video tracks, and I used to put the "TAKE" transition between both of track A and B and the change the direction of the arrow to the video track I want to be in control. Sometimes I even used it to give control to one track in a cut form with the "TAKE" transition, and to put other transition before or after it, so I had a lot of power with controlling tracks and transition the way I want it. O.K.! , this was in Premiere 6.5 but now I'm in Premiere pro!!! and the whole editing method is changed from A/B roll to ONE LINE editing. So how do I control the tracks without arranging the clips on the time line so the clip I want to be split into will be beneath the track whom should be split out off ??? . And sometimes even to put a couple of transition and control their direction.(like playing with "CROSS ZOOM" transition in and out or like I said earlier, to do a split with cut form and then put a dissolve transition into it or out off it ??? . To sum it all, how do I take control of direction, track controlling, and multiple transition in a overlap between the two clips ??? . Waiting for your answer omri P.S : if you are wondering why does it matter for me is because I am a videographer editor (weddings, bar-mitzva, parties) so it is good for giving a A/B roll-2 camera, filling. another P.S: I'm not a native American or Canadian or British or whatever so even though I'm an English speaker, I have miss types and grammar glitches. omri
