It should be ok
I just got off the phone with the authority on biking in the area. On a normal day, when you cross Road #31, a nice option is to descend into Nahal Morag and go parallel to the trail. Don't do that this weekend. There are only three major crossings you have to make, Morag, Mor and Rahaf. According to my source, none of those are *major* flood dangers, but you still should be careful. Needless to say, if there is enough water that you can't see the bottom, or even a shallow water that is moving fast enough you can't see the bottom, don't cross. Don't risk it. If you become concerned after crossing Nahal Morag, you can divert and descend Maaleh Yair to the Dead Sea road instead of going north. If you look at the map, it looks like a rather nice downhill. Bottom line....if you get there and it doesn't look safe, it probably isn't. The Arad rescue team doesn't need extra customers. hehe Have a great ride!! btw, I think I'm going to hook up with someone in the area for a ride tomorrow. If there's any big problems, I'll post.
