אני סטודנט לתואר ראשון במנע"ס. לאחר שאסיים את התואר (בעוד שנה) אני מתכנן לבקש ויזת עבודה דרך חברת ענק של דוד שלי הנמצאת בלוס-אנג'לס. אשמח אם תעזרו לי עם מספר שאלות: 1. כמה זמן לוקח תהליך הבקשה והאם כדאי להתחיל אותו לפני סיום התואר? 2. בהנחה שאקבל את הויזה ואטוס לעבוד, תוך כמה זמן אוכל לקבל גרין קארד? 3. האם במהלך העבודה אוכל לחזור לארץ מבלי בעיה לחזור? האם זה ישפיע על בקשת הגרין קארד? עדי, יעקב וכל הותיקים - אשמח לשמוע את תשובותיכם המקצועיות. כמו כן, תודה לכל מי שמוכן לעזור ושבוע טוב.

Visa

Once you graduate with a BA in your field, you will be eligible for an H1B visa. You could get the visa within 2 weeks under the new regulations. You can not start the H1B process without having the actual degree. Also depending on your BA major your uncle will need to find you a position that will be in the same fielf otherwise the case will fail. Once you have the H1B visa, the application for the green card can start with the same company. Currently it takes almost 2-3 years to go through the process. 1. Yes, if you get an H1B visa, you will be bound to work for your sponsoring employer. Once you find anothet willing employer, you could change jobs and have the second employer sponsor you. 2. Once you get a green card, you could work anywhere and in any field of employment. 3. As a green card holder, you want to live in the US more than you live abroad. If you spend more than 6 months a year abroad you might risk loosing your green card. You can overcome this by applying for a re entry permit that will help you keep the green card for 2 years. שאלה למבינים-יעקב תרגיש חופשי לענות

אם אני עובד 40 שעות בשבוע אצל מעביד על ויזת H1B, האם מותר לי להירשם ללימודים. כלומר, להרשם לתואר שני לא דרך ויזת סטודנט אלא לאחר שיש לי ויזת עבודה ולעבוד בערבים - כאשר המעביד מאשר ומבחינתו חשוב שאעבוד 40 שעות בשבוע. למען הסר ספק, מדובר על לימודים FULL TIME ולא לימודי ערב המיועדים לאנשים עובדים. תודה
