Shalom Tal! Welcome to the world of women in sport! This is a PERFECT time to start thinking of, training for, dreaming of, the next Women's Triathlon, which will be May 29, 2010! You've started running! Step by step, minute by minute, kilometer by kilometer, you'll improve your ability to go further, feeling better. As Mor said, you can look at Dalit's great tips for training. There are also many more in the Women's Tri website: www.women-tri.com You can train by yourself or with a friend. You can look up training programs on a variety of websites - check out Google. You can join a group, see this link for options:
http://www.triathlon.org.il/teams.php Every coach should be open to let you do one or two free imunim, to “interview” the coach and conditions of the training – hours, closeness of training areas, other people in the group, levels of ability. The choice is very individual! Within the group, there are usually several options: paying for a personal plan, with constant personal e-mail or telephone contact with the coach, paying for personal imunim with the coach, paying for group only imunim, paying for and receiving some combination. There's a women's run scheduled for October 16 with 4k and 8.5k options. Incredible area to run in - the forest around Rosh Ha'ayin. More information about it later! Celebrating your 40th birthday with your first triathlon is terrific! You have a year to prepare! Enjoy each minute, each workout. Remember to always be really proud of yourself!!!!
