Aliyah as a Student
I am a 21-year-old from North Carolina. I graduated with a B.A. and after summer break, planned to make aliyah and continue my studies at the graduate level. I turned the Israel Aliyah Center in Washington DC for help. I first met the director, Yair Kalush, when he came to visit my university while I was still a student there. He gave a presentation on Israel Programs to the Jewish students. Yair has been a great help to me, as well as his very nice assistant Merav Dayan. They frequently called me to make sure everything was on track and always asked me whether I had any questions or other concerns. Through them, I was able to apply for graduate studies in Israel (it's called "Sidur Mukdam L'Student"). I have been working closely with them for about the past four months. They are very professional and helpful. I will start my MA studies in October.
