99 versus 63 !

Odelial, todah rabah! Amazing lady at 99 beats anyone at 63 any day! At least you honored my question with an answer 8 hours after I posted it; and yes, I will be coming from the US. I followed your suggestion to get in touch with AACI. I used their webpage to e-mail them; also, I included more info about me and my possible aliyah. Today is day four, and still no answer from them. ulai at yodat mah qarah? Is it possible you spoiled me with your quick response? Maybe they do not monitor their messages as well as you do. Or are they closed at this time of the year? From their webpage, it seems they are "helpful, effective and quick".....Am I being impatient? Are they too busy? Or is there a breakdown somewhere? I'll give them a couple of days more, and next time I will use the phone..... thnx again!

if you didn't here it is: I will be happy to put a sign on our notice board at our AACI Jerusalem branch for pen-friends to correspond with you. We have a large group of retirees who meet for social activities, lectures and programs every Wednesday and who come into our offices to volunteer. I'm hoping one or two will be happy to correspond with you. As you are planning on coming with Nefesh B'Nefesh, you can also join their chat list and put a notice up there as well. Finding paid employment at your age is likely to be problematic. I just turned 59 and am planning Aliyah this summer. While I have no experience to share, would very much welcome comparing what we will both learn as we go forward.
