Army & Lone Soldier

I want to move to Israel and join the IDF when I graduate from uni (in about 2 years). My main obstacle though is my student loan, I have to start paying it off on a monthly basis six months after I graduate. Can anyone tell me what the average pay is like in the army? I read that a Chayal Boded recieves double the salary. It also said that in order to qualify as a Chayal Boded, you must not have immediate family in Israel. What is exactely meant by immediate? Thanks for answering my questions. Do any of you know what the IDF means by "immediate" family. Are uncles immediate? What about grandparents?
