back from mexico
came back few days ago... was so amazing!!!! I recommand everyone to visit Mexico, so much fun and I met so many great americans.... so many great new people that i can only wish i had here in Canada. Today I got an email from this guy that i met in Mexico and he told me there that he found out that he is jewish when he turned 18.... I don't remember what i said to him in mexico but it left such a big impact on him that he decided to buy a book about judaism and learn about his history.... it's so amazing since i am very secular and don't keep much of the jewish laws but i am still proud to be who i am...for me it's not a religion but a "people". so he told me that my conversation with him touched him so much that he decided to investigate his heritage... I think it's so amazing since the guy is over 30 and after 12 years of not finding out who he is, a conversation with a drunk israeli in a bar in mexico made him want to know more about being jewish.... OH well.... maybe israel needs more drunken "messangers"...hehehhe
