Cell Phones for Israel
Shalom and Happy New Year to everyone My son who is 27 and I are making Aliyah to Ra'anana next September 2006, and we would like to get some information if possible. We are trying to decide on a cell phone and company to cover our needs upon arrival. We have heard of Talk N Save, but we think it is a bit expen sive since they require a deposit of $199.00 which although is refundable, we have 2 phones and need 2 lines. Is there anything a little less expensive? What about rates? Also, we will be moving to Ra'anana for Absorption and Ulpan. Has anyone been there, or is anyone there now? We would like to know how the accommodations are. Are they studio apartments? Separate bath and kitchen? or are they communal? Are there shops, stores etc, within walking distance? What about transportation since we won't have a car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all Yosef Malone
