Hi we will be moving in a week. and we wanted to know how to change our address on our teudat zehut. we also wanted to add a son to the teudat zehut. how do we do so? what documents do we need for both?

Hello , As mentioned in Ministry of the Ministry of Interior 's site >changing address: Changing formal address in the Ministry of Interior's records: What is it? Changing of formal address registration in the Ministry of Interior's records as a result of moving to a new place. Who is eligible? One is eligible to apply for one's self, one's spouse and/or one's children providing one presents ID slip for all those applying for an address change. Upon changing address registration to a Kibbutz or a village an authorization from the kibbutz/village secretary must be presented. An application for an address change to Eilat (from a different location) requires the applicant's presence in the Population Administration Agency in Eilat whilst providing proof of residence. Upon changing one's address to one's or one's spouse parents, an approval of the parents must be provided in the presence of a Population Administration Agency clerk. Conditions for applying: In order to apply for an address change one must provide: • ID slip • ID slip for Family members included in the application • Application form filled as required How to apply? In most cases one's presence is not obligatory, one may send a letter of application Cost: No payment required. Upon changing address to a regional council or other, with population less than 15,000, the applicant will be required to present proof of residence.
