child psychology
hi i don't know if this is the right place, but i'll try anyway i'm a nanny for a family in usa, one of the kids is a 10 years old boy. he's a really really great kid, good at school, listens to his parents, very loving and kind. he told me a few days ago that he has night mares every night - he doesn't remember them but knows they were bad dreams cause he wakes up feeling worried/sad/scared. i asked his mom about it, she told me that until 5 years ago (when they moved to the house they currently live in) he used to hear voices calling his name. a psychologist friend told them that as long as he can't remember his dreams not to go for profesional help cause they will medicate him. my question is, can anyone give me some advice about how to aproch the subject with him without freaking him out, or what can i do as his nanny to help thank you
