Thanks, Can you tell me anything about Surround Sound (Dolby 5.1) Receivers (AM/F/M, DVD, SAT, CD etc) working in Israel with the proper power conversion? If not, looks like we'll have a few more items in our garage sale. L'hitriot Moishe

My family and I are planningon making Aliya in the near future. Will out Region 1 DVDs work in Israel if we can't bring our DVD player. We're coming from the States. Shalom Olim!!

(Most of not all) DVD playrs sold in Israel can play Zone 1 (US) dvd's + Zone 2 (Europe), so you should be ok in any case
