I was working for a company who today on the spot fired me on medical grounds. Is this against the law? What should I do? should I go to Bituach Leumi? ie how can I get compensation Miriam

Hello, The law Forbids the dismissal of an employee due to ill absent as long as he still has accumulated sick days. If the employee was deprived of his right to sick days, he can demand Severance pay histadrut haovdim Regards, Michal

Thanks Michal I'll use the links for more info. The only thing was it was a short term job but i assume that the law still apllies. I'll take care of it after the chag. though I found out I should be able to get compesation due to teunat avoda as it happened on the way....
