Hay - Final day
Hi The final day was yesterday after 5 days of flying out of 7. The first 2 days were cancelled becsuse rain and wind. The 5'th task was 163 km. Out, return 2/3 of the way, out and return half. Very stupid task in quite a strong wind. The first leg was not hard but after it became headwind and most of the pilots had to land. Those who made the second WP had to struggle to stay in the course. No one made goal and the nearesst was 8 km short. Ilan made 60 km and located 25'th that day. We still don't have the overall because the presentation is tonight. It looks like the position will be around the 35-40 out of 65 pilots. We have seen some more pilots who came to the pre worlds and we hope the weather will be better for flying. (although it's perfect for humans) Today it's a rest day and tomorrow starts the Pre worlds Wish you a better weather David
