hello folks
so you all moved to Tapuz to get rid of my stories about Italy? sorry, folks, here I am again with some more : I managed to get a permission to land in a mixed a/port, military-civil, called Sarzanna, not to far from La--Spezia, on the Tirrenic coast, some 40km. north of Pisa. It is a Coast-Guard air (hellicopters) base but there is also a civil air-club with a flight school. The route from Modena took me over the Appenini ridge( 2,000m!), so I climbed to 6500 to cross the ridge only to descend immediately to 2000and all this with an ULM !. Ceiling was overcast (8/8) at 9000, so I had plenty of room between the mountains and the clouds... I tried to shoot some photo`s but with my good luck - there was no more film in my camera. This is a beautiful flight, since as soon as you cross the mountain ridge you see the Tirrenic sea with the Lerici penninsula. Hag Sameach agai, Zeev Rozenek
