help! am i baritone or tenor?

i have been trying to figure out my classification. anyway, if i can go from c2 to c4 , and i am able to perform the c4(albiet with falsseto) am i considered a tenor? i need to know the classification for that. the lowest note i can do is about E1, and the highest probably DB4. what is my octave range, and how do i know if i am tenor or baritone(i am definantly not bass). and, can you give me a list of famous non opera tenors and baritones? hope you can help me, isure do have a lot of questions.

Falsetto doesn't count

In the matter of voice types, falsetto doesn't count. Also (despite what people might believe) range of pitch doesn't have that great an effect in this determination also. The major factor is the tone-colour of your voice. First, find out what's your lowest sound. Then, sing a couple of tones above it. How does it sound? does it sound choked, or resonant? Does it have a grainy quality to it? How loud can you sing it? Does it need much air? Next, sing a comfortable medium note. Is it bright or dark in colour? Where does it resonate in your body, Chest, throat, head...? What pitch is it? Next, sing a relatively high note. Make sure it is not falsetto by putting your hand on your chest and feeling it vibrate. Is it penetrating? Can you sing it loud? Is it somewhat choked or strained? Baritone and tenor overlap in their pitches, yet have a distinctive colour. The baritone sounds very resonant and warm in the lower pitches, while having a strained and somewhat weak upper register. On the coutrary, the tenor has no difficulty singing higer pitches, but has a grainy, weak and difficult lower register. Pitch ranges can (and are) often be expanded in order to suite the voice tone-colour. Most men, and popular singers, are baritones (for example, sinatra, tom jones and other oldies are destinct baritones). Tenors are more rare in popular music, and often have to "dirty up" their voice so that they won't sound too operatic (example: Axl rose).
