Help with conversion

Hi everybody! I willing to get converted to Judaism and relocate to Israel some time. A question is - which convesion is right to get Israeli citezenship - orthodox or reform? Which guir from which rabbi will be accepted in Israel? How and where could I find out this in USA? My friends here and friends from Israel don't know about it. Could someone give an advice? Thank you

conversion

This is a hot issue in today's Israeli legal system. In general, an orthodox conversion is the most certain way to get citizenship. You should consult an Israeli lawyer about this. Someone who is familiar with the last verdicts of the supreme court.

Conversion

Inside Israel only the Orthodox conversion enables aquiring an Israeli citizenship, outside Israel even if you convert in a Reform conversion you may achieve an Israeli citizenship when you arrive to Israel, it´s a strange law, but that´s how it works.

if it's done in the U.S.

Than it doesn't matter which one it is - and than you are eligible by the law of return. But the religious authority in Israel might not find you Jewish if you want to get married or buried
