It is never too late. I recommand an assessment at any age. The assessment will give you information regarding the type of the difficulty and will offer sugestions on how to cope with it. It is important to do it as soon as possible so you can give the results to the school in order to get the appropriate help, care and assistance

It is important to consult with a specialist regarding the behavioural problems which you described. You can consult with a psycologist and have a psychological assessment in the "Tahana lehitpatchot hayeled" of the ministary of health, they are given for free until the age of 7.You might also consider joining a parent group or indevidual counseling regarding ways to interact with him when he has these fits

Hosting Learning Disabilities Specialists

On Tuesday, October 12th, between 11:00-13:00 gov.il Forum will host specialists from Nizan-the Israeli Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities. Maly Danino, Executive Director and Rami Gertler, Director of Diagnosis and Treatment will answer parents' questions on identification and treatment of learning disabilities, rights and privileges, assisting and supporting children with learning disabilities, building confidence, improving social status and more. Please send your questions to Forum gov.il or to Gov.il on Facebook. Questions will be answered during the hosting and throughout the following week.
