How to find free legal diagrams
Yes, it is illegal to copy diagrams from a book and send them to people via email. But -- of course -- it IS legal for anyone to fold from diagrams already posted on websites. So, the question is: how do we learn which models are on which websites? The answer is to visit www.origamidatabase.com Set the 'Full Database' box to 'website', then enter a model name, creator name, or whatever you want ...and wait for the results to come. For example, for 'elephants' I found 19 websites with elephant diagrams. This amazing website lists nearly 30,000 published models by more than 2,000 creators. Our own very lovely Gilad Aharoni is a major contributor. I hope this information helps keep everyone legal and folding. Paul Jackson
