אוקיי, כבר הרבה זמן (בערך מאז שהקומונה הוקמה) אני מתכננת את העניין הזה, אבל אז גיליתי שצריך לעשות סיכום שנה (כי נגמרה השנה) ואז נגמרה השביתה, ואז היו מבחנים ובלה בלה בלה, אבל עכשיו אחרי שנגמרו התירוצים הגיע הזמן גם לקיים, אז קבלו את:

ספיישל some hearts הגדול

כל מה שרציתם לדעת (וגם כמה דברים שאולי לא רציתם לדעת) על אלבום הבכורה של קרי. בהודעה הזאת יהיה מידע על האלבום ולאחר מכן מידע על כל שיר בו. מקווה שתהנו

הוא יצא ב-15 לנובמבר 2005.

הופק על ידי מארק ברייט ודן האף.

יצאו מתוכו 6 סינגלים (למרות שיש כאלה שיחשיבו רק 4 מתוכם: Jesus Take The Wheel, Some Hearts, Don’t Forget To Remember Me, Before he Cheats, Wasted ו – Inside Your Heaven. פירוט על הסינגלים בהמשך.

זכה למעמד של פלטינהX7 בארה"ב, ובכך נהיה אלבום הבכורה המצליח ביותר של אמן קאנטרי והאלבום המצליח ביותר של בוגר אמריקן איידול.

האלבום מכר מעל 6.3 מיליון עותקים. (והוא ממשיך למכור, ובגלל זה הייתי צריכה לשנות את המידע כמה פעמים מאז שהתחלתי

)

האלבום קיבל פלטינה משולשת בקנדה (על מכירות של מעל 300000 עותקים).

בשבוע הבכורה שלו הוא הגיע למקום השני במצעד הבילבורד הכללי (מדונה הייתה מקום ראשון) ומקום ראשון במצעד הקאנטרי עם מכירות של 315000 עותקים.

שבוע השיא שלו במכירות היה בשבוע השישי אז הוא מכר 400000 עותקים. (שבוע הכריסטמס של 2005)

האלבום סיים את שנת הבילבורד של 2006 במקום הראשון במכירות מכל הז'אנרים וכמובן גם בקאנטרי, עם מכירות של 3,721,762.

האלבום סיים את השנה הקלנדרית ב-2006 במקום ה-3 בכל הז'אנרים. (שני בקאנטרי), עם מכירות של 3,016,031.

האלבום סיים את שנת הבילבורד של 2007 במקום החמישי הכללי וראשון בקאנטרי (זמרת הקאנטרי הראשונה שאלבום שלה מסיים שנתיים ברצף במקום הראשון, ובפרט אותו אלבום), עם מכירות של 2,288,319.

את השנה הקלנדרית של 2007 הוא סיים במקום ה-17 עם מכירות של 1.54 מיליון.(מקום 5 בקאנטרי)

האלבום זכה באלבום השנה בטקס פרסי ה-ACM ב-2007. וקצת הקדמה להמשך: כמו שאמרתי, היו באלבום 6 סינגלים, בספירה הרשמית מתייחסים רק ל-4 מהם, שהם המוכרים לכולם. כאשר Inside your heaven לא נחשב משום שהוא קטע בונוס שהוסף לאלבום ויצא הרבה לפניו. ו- Some Hearts לא נכלל משום שהוא יצא רק לרדיו פופ ולא קודם בשום צורה. מצעדי קאנטרי: בארה"ב קיימים שני מצעדים כדי למדוד את ההשמעות ברדיו של שירים, שני מצעדי הקאנטרי מתבססים על השמעות בלבד (כלומר, בניגוד למצעד הבילבורד 100 וכו', מכירות ומכירות דיגיטליות לא נחשבות), ההבדל ביניהם הוא בתחנות הרדיו שמשתתפות בספירה וקצת בדרך החישוב. שני המצעדים הם המדיה בייס וכמובן מצעד הקאנטרי של בילבורד. השיר שוחרר לרדיו רישמית רק באוגוסט, אך הוא הושמע בתחנות והיה במצעדים מאז פברואר 2006 והיה במצעד במשך 20 שבועות לא רצופים שמהלכם הוא הגיע למקום 49. לאחר ששוחרר הוא טיפס במהירות והגיע עד המקום הראשון שם נשאר במשך 5 שבועות רצופים.

לאחר שהוא סיים את הריצה שלו במצעדי הקאנטרי הוא עבר למצעדים בפורמטים אחרים והחל מפברואר 2007 טופ 40 רדיו השמיע אותו ולבסוף הוא הגיע לטופ 15 במצעד הזה לאחר 33 שבועות, שזה הטיפוס הכי ארוך לשיר למקום הזה. הוא הגיע עד מקום 8 לאחר 38 שבועות, והוא הסינגל הכי ותיק שהיה בטופ 10 מעולם (מבחינת שבועות במצעד).

אחרי שהוא סיים את הריצה שלו בז'אנר הזה הוא עבר לAC שם הגיע עד מקום 6.

הזמן הארוך שבו הוא נוגן ברדיו ביחד עם ההורדות המרשימות הביאו את BHC לשהייה של 64 שבועות רצופים בטופ 100 של הבילבורד, שהייה שהסתיימה רק עם החלפת השירים לסטליסט של כריסטמס. הדבר הזה הופך את BHC לסינגל המחזיק במספר השבועות השלישי הארוך ביותר לשהייה בטופ 100 (ליאן ריימס ראשונה עם How Do I Live).

הוא הסינגל המצליח ביותר של קרי, הוא מכר מעל 2 מיליון עותקים דיגטלים (פלטינה כפולה) והוא סינגל הקאנטרי הראשון ובינתיים היחיד שהגיע לכזה הישג ובנוסף הוא מכר מעל מיליון רינגטונים (פלטינה).

מצעדי סיום שנה:
