חח Despite triple threat Lindsay Lohan's obvious talent for acting, the teen queen's drama skills did not seem to have helped her during the 2005 Teen Choice Awards which aired August 16. The 2005 MTV Video Music Awards has nominated Lohan for Best Pop Video against tough competition consisting of Ashlee Simpson's Pieces of Me, Gwen Stefani's Hollback Girl, Jesse McCartney's Beautiful Soul, and Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone.

לא מצאתי שני דברים איך לתרגם, אבל זה בכל זאת מובן... למרות הסיכוי שניתן לכשרון המשחק המובהק לינדזי לוהאן, כישוריה של מלכת הדרמות לנעורים לא עזרו לה במהלך טקס בחירת הנוער שהתקיים ב16 לאוגוסט. לוהאן הייתה מועמדת לפרס ה-Hottie ופרס השחקנית הקומית עבור היכולת שלה לגרום למשפחות לגחך בסרט החיפושית בהילוך גבוה. ובכל זאת, פרס ה-Hottie (לנשים) הלך לטובת השחקנית רייצ'ל בילסון מסדרת הטלוויזיה הפופולרית, The O. C. מחוז אורנג', ופרס השחקנית הקומית מצא את דרכו לידה של סנדרה בולוק (איזה מין שוטרת 2). אבל לא לדאוג, בכל זאת! לוהאן מחזיקה עדיין בסיכוי גדול כי ביום ראשון, אוגוסט 28 יתווסף פרס לארון הגביעים שלה. טקס פרסי המוזיקה של MTV לשנת 2005 נתן ללוהאן מועמדות בשביל קליפ הפופ הטוב ביותר כנגד תחרות קשה ובה אשלי סימספון (Pieces if Me), גוון סטפני (Hollback Girl), ג'סי מקרטני (Beautiful Soul) וקלי קלרקסון (Since U Been Gone), בהצלחה.
