Hi, I'm looking into importing a small electronic device/gadget. Which office do I need to speak to, to find out if/how much tax I'll have to pay? Also, do I need to speak to anyone to make sure that it's ok to import this item? TIA. AB

Hello, The Israel Tax Authority is responsible for all import customs. Please note that there are different customs and levies for personal import and commercial import. For further information please check the Tax Authority website, or contact by phone: +972-2-6511911. If the gadget you wish to import is used as a communication device, you need to clear it with the Ministry of Communications (Hebrew only). Sincerely, Keren
