Call center questions...

How do these jobs pay? My shaliach mentioned this is a good option for olim, 'cause you can go to ulpan in the daytime and work call centers in the evening- but what's an average starting wage? Also, what are the hours and the work environment like?

The hours naturally depend on the nature of the project, meaning, if it's a telemarketing project to the UK then it would probably be between 17:00-23:00 Israel time to fit the time difference. And if it's to the states then it would be depending in what time zone in the states and would have to be at night. It can all change with whatever project you're working on, and according to the what the client wants. The base pay changes according to the different hours of the day, and is considerably higher than most hebrew call center jobs. The commisios as well.
