Military service and citizenship
Hi, I am a 19-year-old Jewish male living in the US (US citizen). I am interested in obtaining Israeli citizenship and possibly making aliyah after I finish college, and I would be grateful if someone could clear up some doubts for me. I don't have a problem with doing military service, but since I will be starting college in September, I don't have the time needed to do so. I would like to know if it is possible for me to obtain Israeli citizenship now without performing military service, or if I should plan on doing so after finishing school. Thanks! Adam
