I wish I could say I´ve loved you from the start But I didn´t I wish I could promise That you live in my heart But you don´t I don´t see your face When I wake up in the morning I don´t know much about you I guess I never looked to be taught But your voice flows Through every vein in my body And your music melts Into the music in me I want to let my heartbeat Be the drum to your piano My tears be an echo To your melody You found me the feelings I thought I lost They flow out as salty water Some people call tears And through your words Mine are spoken Through your courage I face my fears So I wasn´t there from the start I´m sorry You don´t live in my heart But through it all You flow through my veins And through every story You put into words My wounded soul This was actually was written for Darren Hayes I did pass it on to him when I saw him live but whether he ever read it- I´ll never know I might end up recording it as a demo one day so Darren might end up making me famous! hehe
