Thank You!

Hey, if nobody's guessed it, i'm practically lost- i'm all mixed up, and have no idea what i'm doing- i really appreciate all the help. Say, what do you do, if you have practically NO information about your jewish heretige, or jewish background? would you have to convert to judisim, in order to be jewish? i'm in the process of digging up anything i can about our ancestry. well, i'll keep at it... No, we haven't been to see the Rabbi yet, i guess we'll have to make a trip there soon-we live in upper FL,(Lake City) so that'll be quite a trip. well, i've got some relatives around there, so, maybe we can take a vacation...ok, please keep me informed if anyone has any help! Todah! 'Next year in Yerushalayim!' Shalom, Yochanan Ben-Dubi

Questions that need answers...

Shalom! I am a 16 years old, and my family and I are wanting to make Aliyah soon. I am kind of puzzled though- What kind of proof is needed to make one certain of their jewishness. - i have a list of my ancestors on my mothers side, (german descent) and there are names like, Adam Sackmann, Rosine Leutshner, Maria Kugee, and Katharina Heim. I'm wondering what else i need, for proof, and how i can get it. Also i would like to know exactly what is Military requirements, and regulations and such. i will be 17 in Elul(Sept.)and i would like to be ready for service in our homland! I would like to find out everything I need, so, if anyone can tell me, or point me to the right sources, it would be greatly appreciated. Todah, Shalom. John Dubi (Yochanan Ben-Dubi)

Hi you didn't mention where you are from so i snclose the full list of Jafi's offices. it sounds like you need full consultation from a Shaliach. here is the link: http://www.jewishagency.org/JewishAgency/English/Aliyah/Contact+Us/Aliyah+Representatives+Abroad.htm

Thank You!

Thank You! Do you think one can 'feel' that they're jewish, as well as being jewish? ( i found my mother's maiden name -here- http://www.gaminggeeks.org/Resources/KateMonk/Middle-East/Jewish/Surnames.htm under Britian- look for WEBER) You know, the thing about being jewish, or israeli, (that i don't think we find anywhere else,) is a sense of unity-everybody feels like family! it's awesome! well, thank you for your help- hey, can you direct me to the 'Kdam Guise Programs'? I am phisically fit, so i dont believe that'd be a problem. and, thanks for the Support- i'm FOR ISRAEL, and NOTHING WILL STOP ME! I"M HOMEWARD BOUND!!! Thank You again, Todah Rabah, Shalom!
