We are a family of parents and an 8th grade daughter making Aliyah in November. We would like for her to make contact with an 8th grader(s) from Ra'anana (where we will be living). Leaving her friends here is the difficult adjustment for her, and she is convinced she will never have friends ever again. She can email and IM. Hi, I would be inclined to go into the English language Ra'anana community web group and post a message there asking if there is anyone with kids of a similar age in the area who would like to be in contact - you might have to try a couple of times but it is widely read and I think you'll probably get a response.
