SKILLED WORKER APPLICATIONS JULY 2006

I am a Dutch citizen living with my Israeli boyfriend in Israel. We submitted our application in July 2006, and still haven't heard anything from the Canadian embassy. Did anyone else apply in July 2006 under the skilled worker category, and received any news? Has anyone succeeded in applying for a job in Canada while residing in Israel? We are considering this option as an alternative. If so, could you provide us with any useful links/sources. I work in online marketing and have a B.A in International Business Management Studies, my bofriend is a programmer and currently studies in the Open University for his B.A in Sciences. I would appreciate receiving advice from any of the moderators/specialists from this forum. Thanks in advance! Sophie

אין חדשות, כרגע התור תקוע על מגישי אפריל 2006

להערכתי באוקטובר נובמבר הקרובים, הם ישחררו בדיקות רפואיות לכל מגישי הנוהל הרגיל עד וכולל מגישי אוגוסט 2006, והם יקבלו ויזות במהלך הרבעון הראשון של 2009, לגבי מגישי ספטמבר ואילך, אני מניח שנדע יותר על אופן העיבוד ועל חלוקת היעדים לעיבוד לאחר שיפורסמו הנהלים ליישום החוק החדש שדיבר על תוספת כ"א לחיסול התור, ועל הבאת בעלי מקצועות מבוקשים לקנדה תוך 6 חודשים מפתיח התיק.

כמעט אי אפשר למצוא עבודה בקנדה אם אין מומחיות מיוחדת או ויזה מתאימה.
