Someone tore off my mezuza today!
Hello, It's very hard being an Israeli-American of Yemenite decent. Most of my family lives in Hatikva neighborhood in Tel Aviv. I lived my life in the United States. It's very hard for a Jew to live anywhere in the world it seems. Today, for example...someone tore the mezuza off my door. What does one do in the land of cheese burgers and peperoni pizza? I remember going to high school. Students called me a camel jockey. My sister was always told to go back to Iran! I truly feel so much at home in Israel. It feels great to belong insted of being an outsider. For all of you reading this and considering moving to Israel...do it before it's too late. If you don't do it now you never will. The law of return is there for a reason. We belong in Israel. Yishy Ben Tassa
