Greetings to all, I am sorry for writing in English, I live in Canada and I don’t have Hebrew fonts/keyboard. ?Does anybody know how do I align to the left !! I think this forum is great I am fairly new to the game and I play micro to small stakes at stars. The question I am wondering about is what is more important at the late stage of a tournament, staying alive or doubling up :Example from two days ago 2.20$ NLH tourney. 3023 players. We are down to the last 20. I am in 12th place with about 190,000 chips. Chip leader has about 800,000. Seven hands table. Blinds 4000/8000 ante 800. I am in 3rd position. I am dealt QQ and make a standard raise of 24,000. The chip leader, who has been going all in very frequently, goes all-in. I am almost sure that I have the best hand pre flop. If I win the pot I will move to 3rd place (with about 400,000 in chips) where the real money is. If I will be sucked out and lose, I will be off course out of the tournament. ? Should I make the call and take the risk of elimination

(A וקיקר נמוך מQ) או 80 20 (פוקט נמוך משלך). שני דברים נוספים, בשלבים המאוחרים ידיים כמו QQ הופכות להיות חזקות אפילו יותר , גם בגלל הפולד אקוויטי(שבמקרה שלך לא היה) ובנוסף כאשר אתם 20 אנשים אתם בדרך כלל 7+7+6 בשולחן ולכן הסיכוי לקולר הוא נמוך יותר , שורט אנדד. והדבר הנוסף, הייתי מציע לך לשקול לפתוח רייז פריפלופ נמוך יותר מX3 בשלבים המאוחרים, מספיק לחלוטין X2.5 ואני פותח עוד אפילו פחות מזה. האפקט הוא אותו אפקט, אתה רוצה "להרגיל" את כולם שאתה פותח נמוך יותר שתוכל גם לגנוב קופות בזול ובמקרה שמישהו דוחף מעלייך ואתה חלש, השקעת פחות ברייז. שיהיה בהצלחה.

אם אתה נגד אסים או קינגים זה קולר ואין מה לעשות. בטורניר כמו שכבר אמרתי לך אין מה לפחד ממירוצים ובמיוחד במקרה הזה שאתה ב95% מוביל לפני הפלופ. חטפת באד ביט זה מבאס אבל זה מה יש.

Usually to win a tournament you have to win few races. However in this particular situation of being very close to the final table in a tourney of 3000 with a chance for a high payout and having to make a decision for all the chips, is it still a clear cut case of calling ? What would you do if you were second in chips and going against the chip leader, would you still make the call ? My M was above 10 so I had a little time to be patient without jeopardizing my entire stack on a race even if I was almost sure that I am ahead pre flop and as b.o.b pointed out, finishing out of the final table in these tournaments does not give you anything I guess that since you are frequently getting to the latest stage of tournaments, your decision in this spot is easier than mine

לא להתעסק עם הציפ לידר מניסיון כואב כמעט תמיד מפסידים אולי התוכנה בנויה כך

M=10+ is not alot at all and in a tournament when you're playing shallow stacks you dont get any better spots than this. if u fold in a few rounds you'll be forced to stack 1010+ and AQ+ and it'll go alot lower very quickly. if he's going all in alot its even more a reason to call but tbh even if he was playing tight there are more combos of AK in his range than AA/KK and he could be doing this with JJ, sometimes even 1010/AQ so this really is a no brainer
