tiny tutorial about tone mapping for MR/maya
this is a short pdf i made for a class a while ago, it shows how you can render 32bit images from maya..or whatever tool you use and tone map it in shake which is the best way to tone 32bit images that i've found so far when i first did this it was to try and match the vray built in tone mapping system, this technique gives the same toning results 1 of the 4 vray tone mapping options has. it's very useful if you post your stuff, especially if you do passes/layer. http://facultypages.scad.edu/~kwitte/documents/Info_Sheets2/Roiter_Tonemap3D_infosheet.pdf
